Well IT happened today. I was asked to speak in our Stake Conference. I was terribly frightened the night before. So much so that I spent much of the Adults meeting the night before out in the foyer and in the rest room. However today went alot smoother. I took two Immodium and no breakfast. I had read books, prepared, fasted, prepared, prayed, prepared, and finally had my Momma and Dad edit. I was about as prepared as I could be.
Today was actually a sweet experience. it was a bit nerve racking before the meeting started. But I felt peaceful the rest of the meeting. I am very blessed. I know it is because I has many prayers on my behalf.
The best part is that I did as I was asked. Now I can feel peaceful in the future about Stake Conference. It isn't like they will ask me again!!!! WAHOO!!!!!!

Way to go MIssy! The Lord truly blesses those who put his trust in Him! I had to speak to 15 High School Catholic seniors about our faith last Wednesday for one hour. I felt many of the same feelings you had!
I was so nervous, but I felt the Spirit helping me through the whole presentation.
I would love a copy of your talk if it wouldn't be too much effort!
